The human Impact:0 Exploitation of Turtles
"All Marine Repties, apart from sea snakes, have a long history of exploitation by humans for food, skins or shells. Turtles face the additional hazard of being accidentally caught in fishing nets, and numbers of all seven species have steeply declined. Marine animals are now protected by international legislation." -American Museum of Natural History Ocean

keeper who takes care of rescued turtles and hatches new ones to free into the wild that it is already such a miracle that the amount of turtles hatched on the island spots at night near the full moon of a spring season and not ran over/stolen and it is already such a miracle that they live to be more than a year surviving to eat and live the currents of their struggle with man's impact to survive as a species....this dude does almost all he can in turtle rescue projects and is all non-profit. Many students get to share the experience of taking care in captivity these ancient reptiles till they are nursed to their release. feeding them & scrubbing off the shells..

As a flame worker with her torch set up, I create these magnificent turtle pendants
that inspire one(s) conecctedness to the earth from ocean & the consciousness of our actions.
For every turtle pendant I am able to personally create for another from my heart,
I will donate 21 % of the donations (I am given for the craft I provide) to the turtle sanctuary,
ongoing @ the end of each full moon. The other donated money will be invested in my volunteer
aspirations with Project Reef [http://www.reef.org/programs/volunteersurvey]
From which my Minor in Scientific Diving will be put to use for the flourishing
efforts of california's northwest coastal revolution - surveying growth & chain effects to furthur impact
our efforts with special harmony, growth, interconected-ness.
I'll post a photo of a turtle glass creature bead example and gladly make turtle pendants for anyone interested in supporting this way. Although only accepting donations, it is roughly a twenty dollar bead and can be either mailed, dropped off, or we arrange a visit to see your turtle bead being made with Turtle Power' ..Call 707 672 4571 or message/comment anything pertainable, ?s. . ...
